Designer Outlet Berlin: getting there and opening hours

Designer Outlet Berlin (Alter Spandauer Weg 1, Wustermark, west of the city) is described on McArthurGlen pages as open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00 and closed on Sunday; we read this through a search engine on 3 November 2026, without being able to open the official page itself, so verify it. The same pages mention a free shuttle of about 30 minutes from central Berlin every Friday and Saturday and on special trading days. Since 27 November is a Friday, the shuttle should run, but confirm the departure point and times before relying on it.

Tax refund for non-EU visitors

Germany: you must live outside the European Union. Each receipt must exceed €50 including VAT (so €50.01 at least) and the goods must leave in your personal luggage. The goods must leave the EU within three months. When you leave the EU, customs validates the paperwork (customs stamp on the export form at the departure customs office). Services (hotels, restaurants, taxis) are excluded. Keep the goods in your hand luggage until they are validated. The refund is paid by the shop or its agent, never by customs; fees may apply. Avoiding the crowds

A few habits that work everywhere: - Shop early on Friday morning or on a weekday: Saturday afternoon is usually the busiest time. - Keep your passport with you: the tax refund and some discounts require ID. - Note an item's price a week earlier: a crossed-out price is not always a real cut. - Read the return policy and the exclusions, and leave room (and weight) in your suitcase.

Booking the trip or the tour

To shop with a guide, we feature the GetYourGuide activity "Stylish Vintage and Fair Fashion Tour With Personal Guide" (link in the booking box on this page). Check the departure point, duration and price on the activity page before booking.
