From the Messe to the centre
The Messe is in Charlottenburg, west of the centre. The organiser recommends public transport or a taxi, as parking near the site is limited. The U2 links Kaiserdamm and Theodor-Heuss-Platz to the centre; always check the route in the transport app on the day you travel, especially during engineering works.
What to do with an evening
A guided walking tour of the Third Reich and the Cold War gives you the landmarks of the centre in one evening. With a full day, add the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie and the East Side Gallery. On Sunday, the Mauerpark flea market extends the walk.
