Audio guide
No classic audio guide: the site offers tours in the free SANSSOUCI app (several languages). Download it before you go and bring headphones, as none are lent.
When a guided tour is worth it
The app is enough to understand the apartments. A guided Potsdam tour makes more sense for the large palaces, see castles and palaces in Berlin.
Free gardens and the area
The park is free: stroll through even without a ticket, then read around Charlottenburg Palace.
