November weather: cold, damp and grey

| Berlin average (approximate) | November |
|---|---|
| Average high | about 8°C |
| Average low | about 3°C |
| Rainfall | about 40 mm |
Rounded values based on the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) 1991-2020 normals; they vary from year to year, and the first frosts are possible. The sun sets around 4:30 pm early in the month and around 3:55 pm at the end. With so few daylight hours, plan outdoor visits for the morning. For the season, see Berlin in autumn and Berlin in winter.
Crowds and prices in November
It is one of the quietest months: few groups, short queues at the major sights. Hotel prices are generally lower than in October, except around the opening of the Christmas markets. Berlin Zoo is open 9 am to 4:30 pm; some outdoor sights have reduced hours. To choose a neighbourhood, see where to stay in Berlin.
