How to enjoy it without an invitation
Book a hotel in Mitte or Charlottenburg early: prices rise during fashion week. Visit Bikini Berlin and KaDeWe, then the boutiques of Mitte (see shopping in Berlin).
What to avoid
Do not pay for a runway ticket from an unofficial reseller. Before booking a trip, check the dates on the official website: they can move. January is cold: see Berlin in January.
