Britzer Garten in Berlin: Prices, Hours and When to Go (2026)
The Britzer Garten is a large landscaped park in southern Berlin, in Neukölln (Britz district), created for the 1985 horticultural show: meadows, lakes, rose gardens and flower beds. Price found on berlin.de in July 2026: from 1 March to 31 October, 5 euros for adults and 2.50 euros reduced; from 1 November to 28 February, 2 euros and 1 euro. Free up to and including age 5. Dogs and bicycles are not allowed. An event listing gave 3 euros for a normal ticket in May 2026: check the rate on the official website before going. Hours: we could not confirm them (a third-party directory says 9 am to 8 pm, unverified).
Highlights

The tree blossom
In spring the park celebrates the blossom with the Britzer Baumblüte; it is one of the most photogenic moments of the year.

The park lakes
On a spring evening, the pink light on the water gives one of the park's finest views, far from the city noise.
Special evenings
The park runs separate paid events: the Britzer Gartennacht on 8 August 2026 cost 38.50 euros (entry at 4 pm), and seasonal events exist (fairy festival, Halloween).

Tips
- Choose the Britzer Garten for a long, quiet walk outside the centre, especially with children or for a picnic. If you also visit the Gardens of the World in Marzahn, an annual pass for the Gärten der Welt (40 euros) is said to be valid at the Britzer Garten too: see the Gardens of the World page and our guide to Berlin parks and gardens.
How to get there
Sangerhauser Weg 1, 12349 Berlin (Neukölln, Britz). By public transport: U7 to Blaschkoallee or Parchimer Allee, then a few minutes' walk to the entrance; check the exact route in the BVG app.
