Legoland Discovery Centre Berlin: tickets, attractions and tips for families

Updated on October 9, 2026

The Legoland Discovery Centre is an indoor attraction in the Sony Center on Potsdamer Platz. It is not a large park like the Legoland in Denmark or southern Germany: it is an indoor site with about ten attractions, a model of Berlin in bricks and building workshops. It is aimed mainly at children aged about 3 to 10; adults come mostly to accompany a child. Hours and prices seen in October 2026 on the official website: open 10:00 to 18:00 (last entry 16:00 on the days seen). Hours vary by day and during holidays, so check the date of your visit.

Highlights

The entrance in the Sony Center

The entrance in the Sony Center

The Legoland is on the ground floor of the Sony Center, under the tent-shaped roof of the square, a few minutes from Potsdamer Platz. The centre has a LEGO shop and a café.

Miniland Berlin

Miniland Berlin

The big model of the city recreates Berlin's landmarks with more than two million bricks: the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the TV Tower. It is the part adults find most interesting.

NINJAGO City Adventure and Dino Explorer

Two interactive play courses, with targets to aim at and challenges to complete. Children often do them several times.

The factory tour, the building workshop and Merlin's Magic School

You see how bricks are made, then build and test your creations on play tables, or join a magic-themed workshop.

The 4D cinema and the DUPLO farm

A film with effects (wind, water, shaking) and an area for toddlers with DUPLO bricks.

The Dragon Coaster

The centre's children's roller coaster was listed as closed for repairs on the official website in October 2026: check before you come if this ride matters to you.

Tips

Prices seen in October 2026 on the official website: from €19.50 online, against about €25 at the ticket desk; a "happy hour" rate after 14:00 from €18 online; free for children under 2; an annual pass is offered at €49. Some booking sites show lower prices on specific dates: compare, but prefer the official site for a changeable ticket. For a full visit, allow about 2 to 3 hours. The park is entirely indoors, so it is a good rainy-day idea (see Berlin when it rains). Other outings nearby: the Spy Museum, the Computer Games Museum and our guide Berlin with children.

How to get there

Potsdamer Straße 4, 10785 Berlin (Sony Center). S-Bahn (S1, S2, S25, S26) and U-Bahn (U2): Potsdamer Platz station, a few minutes on foot. Several bus lines also stop at Potsdamer Platz.
