Filmpark Babelsberg: Visiting the Film Studio Theme Park in Potsdam

Filmpark Babelsberg is a theme park set within the Babelsberg film studios in Potsdam, just southwest of Berlin. The studios, among the oldest in the world, gave birth to classics of German cinema and still host international productions. The park offers sets and film locations to explore on foot, stunt shows and demonstrations about how films are made. Allow half a day, or a full day with children. The park is open from 1 April to 29 October 2026, usually every day from 10:00 to at least 17:00; the 2026 season is therefore nearly over, and the dates of the next season should be checked on the official website.

Prices seen in October 2026: adult €25 online (€29 at the ticket desk), reduced €22 online (€25 at the desk), child aged 4 to 16 €18 online (€23 at the desk), free up to age 3, family card (2 adults and up to 3 children) €84 online (€99 at the desk). The park asks visitors to buy tickets online in advance, which is cheaper. This is not a tour of the working studios: the park is a separate leisure venue. How to get there

August-Bebel-Straße 26-53, 14482 Potsdam. From Berlin, the S-Bahn S7 serves Potsdam and Babelsberg station, from where the park is close; check the route and the ticket you need in the BVG or VBB app. By car, a paid car park (€6) is available. Potsdam's landmarks, such as Cecilienhof Palace and Sanssouci Palace, can be combined with the park on the same day.
