Timed ticket or not?
The Tiqets listing mentions no time slot: you show the ticket on your phone at the entrance. Official tickets can be bought online up to four weeks ahead. The audio guide is included in the museum ticket.
Nefertiti: where and when
The bust stands alone in room 210 (level 2) and photography is not allowed. Come at opening on a weekday and go straight up. Keep at least two hours for the rest (Egypt, the Golden Hat, Priam's Treasure).
Do you need a combined ticket?
If you add a second museum on the island, the EUR 24 Museumsinsel ticket is cheaper than two tickets. Tiqets also lists combos with the DDR Museum or the TV Tower: compare with the total of separate tickets. Our Museum Island page covers the open museums and the Neues Museum page the rooms.
Closures to know
Closed on Mondays and from 15 to 17 March 2027 for maintenance. Temporary exhibitions such as "Destiny in the Stars" (to 10 January 2027) may use the same ticket; check what the Tiqets listing includes.
