Crowds and prices in June
High season begins: weekends are busy, and hotel prices are higher than in April. There is no Berlin public holiday in June 2027 (Whitsun is in May). Long Night of the Sciences: Saturday 19 June
The Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften is announced for Saturday 19 June 2027, 5 pm to midnight: around fifty institutions in Berlin and Potsdam open laboratories, archives and lecture halls, with experiments and talks. Check the official site for the programme and tickets.
Fête de la Musique: Monday 21 June
On Monday 21 June 2027 the Fête de la Musique takes over the city, from about 2 pm to 10 pm according to the announcement: amateur and professional musicians play free on many open-air stages. A good way to see several districts in one day.
